PrideStaff Greenville is seeking an experienced Production Engineer on behalf of our client (an area machine shop / tool maker company) in Greer, SC.
We are searching for a skilled and reliable Production Engineer that Develops and improves manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.
The Production Engineer Responsibilities:
- Layout, Design and Draw new tools
- Redraw/revise existing prints to current standards as required
- Manufacturing support
- Maintain drawings and revisions
- Compile programs for in house machines
- Review and revise programs
- Performs additional duties delegated by the Management Team
The Production Engineer Skills / Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and AutoCAD
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and written
- Ability to program machine controllers
- Advanced Math and Trigonometry knowledge
- Any combination of experience, training and/or education approved by Management
- Ability to interpret a variety of procedures and work instructions
