Do you enjoy being the glue that holds a team together? Are you great at coordinating day to day activities for your team? Lavelle has the opportunity to add a Production Department Supervisor to our Burlington, WI facility!

Shift opportunities:

• Department Supervisor (1st Shift)
• Department Supervisor (3rd Shift)
• Technical Press Department Supervisor (7pm-7am on 2-2-3 schedule)

Department Supervisors are first and foremost, people first, and team-oriented. Focusing on problem-solving to support growth and development of their team and meeting department and organization goals.

Work includes, but is not limited to:

• Cultivating a team atmosphere.
• Ensuring compliance with standard work; enforcing work rules and safety policies including initiation of disciplinary process and escalating when appropriate.
• Supervising the daily work of the department or facility, managing direct reports as needed.
• Review direct reports or operator performance and coaching for improvement.
• Managing the tracking, recording and analysis of team KPI's.
• Working with other Supervisors and Operations Leadership on project work; work will include participating in continuous improvement activities, including project work, FIFI, PDSAs and kaizen events.

Requirements:

• 2-4 year degree or working toward a degree preferred.
• 2+ years leadership experience; 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis.
