JOB SUMMARY
The Production Coordinator will focus on assisting with the game-day production, event preparation and content management of Tommie Athletics home and away events. This position will play a role in creating a high-level fan experience both in-arena and on various streaming platforms. This role will help Athletics drive incremental revenue through sponsorship development and through future Tommie Sports streaming fees. This position is located on the St. Paul campus with some minimal travel included.

JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee the AV set up and operations for all Tommie Athletics home events and video shoots, assisting with broadcast and in-house productions.
- Manage hiring, scheduling, and training of student workers, freelancers, and contractors for home athletic events.
- Lead production team in loading, testing, and organizing content for Tommie Athletics streams and video board shows
- Manage IPTV scheduling and content management systems. Assist in managing third-party relationships with outside media organizations
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
- One year of experience with the following: broadcast control rooms and equipment including, but not limited to, TriCaster, ZePlay, Xpression, Ross Carbonite, and experience with content management systems.
- Must have familiarity with video and audio cabling including coax, Fiber, XLR, and network.
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or eligible for legally required exemption such as a medical or religious reason.
An equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired may be substituted.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience managing students and freelance AV staff
- Experience setting up for on-location shoots, both for broadcast and creative
- Two years of experience working in a Division I athletics department.
