Job description

Plymovent Corporation is seeking an experienced Production Associate to work at its Cranbury, NJ facility Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. The Production Associate will produce and/or assemble commercial air filtration equipment and components, primarily handling and bundling rail, typically 10 feet to 20 feet in length. The Production Associate will also pick and package customer sales orders.

Essential Job Functions

• Assembly of product and components according to production orders, following assembly work instruction and testing guidelines.
• Accurately pick and package customer sales orders.
• Report production and customer order fulfillment challenges/issues to Warehouse Manager or Production Lead.
• Operate a forklift.
• Report any observed safety concerns to Warehouse Manager.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment within the warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Requirements

• 2 years experience in an assembly/production setting.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools, including a saw.
• Ability to read and accurately complete picking lists, production orders and assembly/testing instructions.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Capacity to multi-task and be detail oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
