Job Summary:
Product Management Specialist II, Complex Health, is responsible to coordinate the Product Development Model process which includes the development and implementation of product milestones and gateways.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate tasks to develop, implement and maintain a competitive product platform for all assigned Complex Health Innovations, driving consistency, simplicity and standardization
- Track individual product performance, by ensuring fidelity to the Operating Model, Complex Health
- Provide support to all Complex Health leadership
- Execute the activities required to support the development of short and long-term strategic product design plans for all Complex Health Products.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive the overall Operating Model across the organization
- Ensure timelines are met by communicating tasks and deliverable to responsible parties and Complex Health leadership
- Maintain documentation vital to Operating Model and project plans on appropriate platform
- Assist leaders in development of business case to advance ideas through the Operating Model
- Support required Product material reviews for Product and Benefit design elements, as required/assigned
- Support team meetings to establish and execute on detailed tasks
- Lead and manage the assigned Product Management initiatives through their lifecycle
- Lead issue resolution and escalation
- Support, and execute to the established budgets, timelines (milestones) and task schedules
- Assist in development of reports as required by external governing bodies and internal stakeholders
- Support the identification and management of risk including implementing mitigation strategies and communicating/escalating to key stakeholders
- Execute assigned tasks to collaborate with senior leadership to ensure initiatives are properly funded, resourced, and managed, as assigned
- Assist in maintaining the Product dashboard reporting to monitor product performance
- Provide clarification/verification for all levels regarding status/details
- Incorporate effective change and risk management controls
- Support the identification of technology-based solutions to support and continuously improve Product Management’s accuracy, quality, and execution
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in Finance, Business or health care field, or other related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
- Minimum of three (3) years of product management, product development, market strategy, or market research experience in the insurance industry is required
- Managed Care experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity of the managed care field and knowledge of government program products is preferred
- Previous experience working with state and Federal regulators/government in a managed care setting is preferred

- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
