Product Development Associate
Apparel Packaging/Trims
North American Textile Co.
Glendale, CA 91204

North American Textile Company is a multi-national manufacturer and distributor of apparel packaging and trims for some of the world's largest retailers. The Product Development Associate will work closely with Design, Customers, and Sales. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day functions in product development including costing, product management and sample follow-up.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements
• Service large retailers serving as the link of communication between customers and internal teams
• Facilitate in the development of the product ensuring quality of samples submitted to the customer
• Manage the quotation of the products based on market value and set target costs to maximize profits.
• Communicate daily with vendors, customers, and other departments on projects
• Complete projects within given timeline
• Maintain accurate records of samples, costs, pricing, and markups
• Report all data and information to senior lead/manager

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Sharp attention to detail
• Capable of working efficiently in a team
• Possess analytical decision-making skills
• Ability to organize large amounts of information and meet deadlines
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• 2+ years in an administrative position preferred
