Sofidel America of Hattiesburg, MS is currently seeking an Assistant Product Analyst. We are searching for a candidate that is local to the area and is looking for a long-term role in a stable environment with growth opportunities. Your expertise will make you an important part of our team!

Job Responsibilities:

• Elaborate and maintain the technical specifications and bills of material of the finished product for production.
• Create and keep up with the technical standards and material bills for the finished product.
• Coordinate with the Development Team to coordinate the activities related to the launch of new products.
• Create and update technical documentation for the raw and auxiliary materials to meet the requirements of the clients, and enter daily production and consumption of raw materials.
• Monitor, develop, and modify the layout, decorations, and technical characteristics of the finished product and its wrap.
• Maintain strong relationships and coordinate activities with multiple internal departments
• Collaborate with the Production and Operation Management to ensure the improvement of products, materials, and the product palletizing system.
• Ensure efficient reference reporting.
• Create the production batches, then check the quantities produced and the raw materials utilized.
• Analyze and monitor consumption to ensure accurate production data within the SAP system.
• Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional materials and supplies.
• Maintain a safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified levels of knowledge about new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 1-2 years of related work experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of SAP beneficial
• Excellent attention to detail.
