PATH is seeking customer service orientated candidates with experience providing administrative support to join our Procurement team as a Procurement Specialist. This position will support procurement activities for the PATH family of agencies. The ability to excel in a fast-paced environment as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills are a must!
ABOUT OUR PROCUREMENT TEAM
The Procurement team at PATH is responsible for managing the purchasing for the PATH family of agencies which includes PATH, PATH Ventures, and PATH Partners, and ensuring that purchases are processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with both PATH and federal procurement guidelines.
WHAT IS A PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for assisting the Sr. Director in administrative responsibilities within the procurement department. Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in continuously establishing the Procurement department as the first point of contact for outside suppliers.
- Manage and respond to daily Procurement requests.
- Communicate consistently with outside departments and programs regarding order status.
- Track requisitions from incoming request for goods or service delivery.
- Work with vendors to maintain accounts, resolve any vendor challenges, push to management for negotiations and escalated matters.
- Order and track PATH branded goods (uniforms, business cards, table covers, etc.)
- Assist with managing vendor communications
- Assist with new site set ups
- Assist with company ordering platforms including ehub (purchasing system) as needed
- Assist with document management as needed
WHAT YOU BRING
We're looking for candidates that:
- Systems experience with SalesForce, Intacct, Asset Tiger, and Microsoft TEAMS a plus
- Strong decision-making and data analysis skills
- Ability to use computers and proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must project a professional demeanor and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both individually and as part of a team
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure and time sensitive environment due to the nature of our mission and outreach needs.
- Must maintain and execute confidential information
- Ability to interact with diverse clientele
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Non-profit experience
- Systems experience with FileBound, Intacct, and Microsoft TEAMS a plus
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in related field, preferably in purchasing, business, accounting
- Three (3) years of experience in procurement
- Management experience
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Regardless of qualifications, candidates must:
- Have employment eligibility verification
- Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training
- Provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination
- Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire:
- Tuberculosis Test
- Background Screening
- Drug Test
COVID-19 VACCINATION
Effective 11/01/2021 PATH will require all employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. All prospective hires will be expected to provide proof of full vaccination as part of the pre-employment credentialing process.
FLEXIBLE WORK
PATH is a California employer. Therefore, all regular and customary work must be performed within the state. Approval for work outside of the office, does not establish approval for work to be conducted outside of California.
