Financial Management & District Procurement secures acquisition contracts for both goods and services on behalf of the Bank. As the Manager of Procurement, you will report to the Senior Manager of District Procurement and lead a supportive team that works with multiple departments to support their acquisition needs. The Procurement Manager provides guidance and administers support for the full life cycle of the acquisition processes. Although not necessarily limited to these items, the Manager will use established local and system processes for monitoring acquisitions to ensure policies, procedures, and guidelines are being followed. #LI-Onsite
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the District’s procurement function. This includes ensuring proper sourcing and contracting as well as ensuring compliance with Federal Reserve System guidance.
  • Train, establishes goals and provides guidance to assisting staff; manage priorities accordingly including timely completion of projects, and ensures accuracy and integrity of activities performed.
  • Operate as a key partner with business areas for all procurement activities including industry analysis, supplier sourcing, bidding events, and contracting.
  • Assist customers with procurement questions and concerns. Provide professional customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Partner with vendor management to understand internal requirements, review supplier performance, and build sourcing and renewal strategies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
  • 5 years of related experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in working with Workday and/or Ariba preferred
  • Possess basic understanding of policies and practices as they relate to benefits and payroll
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information handled
  • Excellent customer service skills

Salary: $140,000-155,000
