Job description
- Provides analysis, evaluation and review of problems regarding methods and equipment, material handling, layout, and material flow.
- Designs and implements alternative solutions to anticipated or actual technical-related manufacturing problems.
- Evaluate existing processes and standard operating procedures for continued improvements
- Participate and cooperate with development teams during the design process of new equipment.
- Generates time studies, charts and reports
- Evaluates and implements projects that reduce cost, increase value and/or improves quality.
- Works with health and safety to design process safeguards and improve team member safety.
- Responsible for training on the process changes.
- Troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production.
- Document lessons learned in troubleshooting process
- Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles and Minimum Controls.
- Perform other duties as assigned by facility management.
