job summary:
A Process Engineer is needed for a biomedical/biotechnology engineering firm and multinational manufacturer of medical devices in the Maple Grove, MN area. This position will partner cross-functionally with a technically experienced, and highly engaged team to support the design, development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies to ensure successful transfer into manufacturing.

responsibilities:
- Solving complex technical problems in a hands-on manner, working in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborating & partnering with R&D and operations to develop processes, influence design specifications and provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to the engineering print package.
- Works cross functionally to lead, own, develop, & deliver capable and robust processes and equipment to operations.
- Perform process verification and validation per quality requirements.
- Undertakes and successfully completes simple or basic project/product development tasks to include any of the following: maintaining product/process documentation, testing processes, equipment, raw materials and product, and validating equipment and processes.
- Designs, procures, and fabricates simple tooling and fixtures.
Skills:
- Experience with Process Verification and Validation.
- strong mechanical aptitude.
- Prior experience in catheter development is huge and CAD experience.
- Medical device or other regulated industry experience.
- Excels in a collaborative, cross-site environment.
- Demonstrated cross functional teamwork in technical environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or relevant technical field
- 1-2 years experience with a bachelor's in an engineering discipline.
- Proficient in MS Office.
