SAFETY AND SERVICE INCENTIVE PLAN – QUARTERLY BONUSES

The purpose of the Private Fleet CDL Class A Driver is to achieve key distribution goals and objectives of providing best in class safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Loads trailer(s) via pallet jacks & powered equipment (certification training provided) and straps/secures pallets as necessary to prevent damage in transit.
• Delivers merchandise on customers’ premises via pallet jack, liftgate, dolly, and/or by hand as necessary (many facilities personnel assist with unloading) and obtains receipt for goods. Verifies load against shipping papers.
• Delivers inventory/supply transfers to company facilities based on operational needs and verifies load against shipping papers prior to loading and after delivery.
• Operates over the road Monday-Friday with some 2-3 day routes during the week (drivers are always home on Friday night and are not required to make weekend deliveries except in emergency situations).
• Runs consistent routes each week (will be fixed unless operational needs require a change).
• Drives tractor/trailer to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in area.
• Maintains truck log according to Federal and Company regulations.
• Performs thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required by Federal regulations and notes any issues as they may arise.
• Maintains telephone contact with Supervisor.
• Does not use Truck or Company fuel/credit card for any personal matters.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 
  2+ years CDL-A Van Experience
• Valid CDL-A License with no restrictions from operating a CMV based on DOT drug and alcohol program violations.
• Driving record with minimal/no incidents (no DWI’s, DUI’s, fatalities, etc.).
• Must have an "Active DOT Medical Card"
• Dependability and punctuality to be at work on time each scheduled work day.
• Ability to operate professionally & independently for 2-3 days over the road with no supervision.
• Prior experience operating trucks with ELD and ELD related software
• Will be required to pass a background check prior to an offer of employment and be eligible for security clearances to enter secure correctional facilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to push/pull pallets up to 2,000 lbs on/off a truck with a pallet jack.
• Ability to break down and stack boxes weighing 50+ lbs as necessary.
