Responsibilities:

The Principal of Sales Strategy & Analytics will be primarily responsible for collecting and analyzing key sales data to glean crucial insights such as performance, trends, and opportunities—all of which help to drive revenue. They then use those insights to improve forecasting accuracy, determine pipelines at risk, automate CRM tasks, enhance customer relationships, and boost sales performance.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Developing a sales-focused data visualization tool to analyze and measure KPIs and market trends
  • Partner with the VPs of Sales and Marketing to analyze group and market data, identifying commercial opportunities
  • Advise and present ideas for new business opportunities
  • Leverage analytical, financial and commercial knowledge to understand the key drivers of the business, then provide clear insights and sales direction
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert for sales data strategy
Coach and develop on-site support personnel in data analytics

Salary Range: $151,756.80 to $199,180.80 (Salary determined by applicable experience)

Expertise in data analytics: descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive, with a strong focus on data mining and working with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data. Knowledgeable about and able to analyze and present on customer segmentation, pricing competitiveness and competitor assessment. Excellent levels of financial literacy and genuine skill in understanding KPIs and performance metrics required to measure and monitor progress in achieving objectives

Expertise in developing and using the data visualization tool Power BI. Experience in building and maintaining Power BI databases, focusing on data analytics and output.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
