The Principal Data Engineer will be responsible for the development and continuous improvement of both the internal data analysis pipeline at Noah as well as other potential data pipelines to allow customers to interact with their procedural data.

This role will understand product analysis questions posed by departments within Noah and provide a vision for how to answer questions effectively and efficiently to provide continuous feedback on product manufacturing, deployment, training, and effectiveness, given the data produced by the deployed systems.

Responsibilities: *

• Understands requirements within the company for data analysis and data management.
• Identify and track key performance indicators for deployed products.
• Help to recruit and retain a top notch data analysis team, as expanding requirements dictate.
• Evaluate new technologies and integrate appropriate changes to improve internal data pipelines.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers, patients, and internal personnel.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of experience in relational database design, non-relational database design, and “big data” analysis and visualization tools
• Demonstrated expertise in Python development.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries
• Self-starter and independent with the ability to manage/coordinate a staff located remotely.
• Demonstrated experience with both “On Prem” and “Cloud” processing systems (AWS experience preferred)
• Medical device experience a plus, but not required.
