Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking a Principal Collective Trainer for Intelligence to join our growing team of diverse professionals supporting our III Corps program at Fort Sill in Lawton, OK (FSOK). The candidate will provide consulting expertise to military or defense clients as the FSOK Mission Command Training Center (MCTC) Collective Trainer for Intelligence. This team is chartered with providing the skills, innovative technologies to develop, design, produce and sustain optimized training products and events for US Army customer units providing a decisive advantage to the warfighter.
Responsibilities:
Provides instruction on Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB) and other intelligence functions at the Brigade/ Division/ Corps level
Works with the Intelligence Training Manager to ensure each site is supported for Intelligence Training
Must be willing to learn and operate Intelligence Simulation Systems to include: War Simulation (WARSIM) Intelligence Module (WIM), the Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Tactical Proficiency Trainer (IEWTPT), Virtual Unmanned Ariel System (VUAS) and Multiple Unified Simulation Environment (MUSE)
Must possess a working knowledge of Army Mission Command Information Systems and be able to integrate all intelligence warfighting function simulations with the Intelligence Fusion Server which serves as the primary interface between echelon Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A) sub-systems, external Intelligence Fusion Server (IFS), and other Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS)
Serve as a MUSE trainer and system operator
Conduct Mission Command Staff Collective Training to include the Military Decision- Making Process, Mission Command staff processes, Tactical Operations Center (TOC) functions, and tactical operations using MCIS
Develops products and synchronize databases to support training for Mission Command exercises
Basic Qualifications:
One of the following:
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of professional and or military experience
Master's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of professional and or military experience
Current active U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance
Possess a working knowledge MUSE and VUAS
Understand and serve as an Instructor on Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Military Intelligence/Targeting operations at the Brigade (BDE)/ Division (DIV)/ CORPS level
Must be able to travel in the United States to support simulation-based Army training exercises as needed (up to 25% of the time)
Must be willing to work on-site at Fort Sill in Lawton, OK
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Military Intelligence/Targeting operations at the BDE/ DIV/ CORPS level
Graduate of the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) or be Military Education Level 1 (MEL 1)
Experience operating intelligence simulation systems to include WIM, MUSE, IEWTPT, and VUAS
Army Instructor certification and experience with other MCIS or Enabling systems, (Joint Capability Release/Joint Battle Command Platform, Advance Field Artillery Tactical Data System, Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System, Tactical Airspace Integration System, Air and Missile Defense Workstation, Distributed Common Ground System-Army, etc.)
Information Assurance Technical Level II certification
Served as a BDE Level or Higher S2, Senior Warrant Officer Order of Battle Technician or Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of a Divisional or Higher Analysis and Control Element
A minimum of 5 years’ experience working with DCGS-A and Portable Multi-Function Workstation
