Job Summary:
The Principal Architect will identify customers' business needs and assist them to develop their IT Transformation Strategies. The Principal Architect will perform strategic consulting, workshop delivery and project roadmaps and strategize in the design of solutions mapped to the customer's business objectives.

This position will be a remote position however may be required to report to a SHI office location, as required for business needs as determined by Stratascale.

Responsibilities:
  • Strive to understand our customer’s business needs and assist them with developing roadmaps for their IT Transformation Strategies
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the competitive landscapes around emerging technologies and their applicability to customer environments
  • Strategize with extended teams in the design of modern solutions mapped to the customer’s business objectives
  • Ensure we are delivering customized, relevant and audience appropriate messaging to stakeholders from C-Level Executives to Engineering
  • Identify supporting multi-disciplinary requirements to increase the potential value derived from technologies such as Cloud, Compute, Storage and Networking
  • Collaborate with Sales and Solutions teams to architect, design and maximize the value derived from SHIs most complex and innovative offerings
  • Mentor Sales and Solutions teams on engagement tactics and strategies tied to high-impact Sales Plays
  • Participate in discovery calls and the development of strategies for expanding an opportunity across and into adjacent solution areas
  • Deliver workshops to customers around emerging technologies, IT operational efficiencies and the modernization of IT toolsets
  • Develop roadmaps that create manageable paths to operational efficiencies and the adoption of new and emerging technologies
  • Lead proposal creation and presentation process in conjunction with Sales, Solutions and OEM Partner teams.
  • Support OEM Partner specific programs; Collaborate with SHI internal teams, such as Hardware/Advanced Solutions and Software Licensing teams, to maximize program success
  • Provide thought leadership by staying current on innovative technologies and embracing the adoption of new partners or solution components
  • Represent SHI at relevant industry events
  • Assist in the development and organization of Intellectual Property (IP)
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years working in customer facing or customer support roles
  • 15+ years of industry experience
  • Prior architect/engineer work with Data Center, IT Operations and IT
  • Automation technologies with solid understanding of interrelated solutions such as Cloud, Networking and Security

Preferred Skills:
  • IT Industry Certifications for OEM solutions, Cloud Providers and IT Frameworks desirable
Unique Requirements:
  • Travel as needed for the business (est. 25%)
Additional Information:
  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $205,000 - $285,000 which includes a base salary and bonuses. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
