Job Summary: Creative Health Services is one of the largest Drug & Alcohol prevention providers in Montgomery County. Due to continued expansion we are seeking an individual that has the ability to teach in the Spring-Ford, Perkiomen Valley, Pottsgrove, Pottstown, Pope John Paul II, Upper Perkiomen School Districts and the surrounding community. We are interested in individuals that have either a background in teaching or a human service background.

We are looking for someone to teach part time during the school year. We are seeking someone to work 10-15 hours per week in the school setting. All programs have been identified and fully supported by the individual School Districts. Positions include 8 days of training, including SAP certification as well as regular supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teaching evidence based and educational programs in the classroom Our programs teach children to identify and understand their own and others' emotions, reduce impulsiveness and choose positive goals. Programs can include Second Step, Operation Prevention, Social Media Education, Too Good for Drugs, and True Stores.
• Representing Creative Health at health fairs, back to school nights, and well known community events.
• The opportunity to facilitate psycho-educational groups which can be based on Mental Health and/or Drug & Alcohol topics. Topics can include Strengthen Families, Anxiety, Girls circle, and Depression.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in the Social Science area and/or teaching experience.
