We are a growing Christian preschool hiring for a Part Time opening for an Assistant Teacher/Floater for our preschool classes and after care program with the hours being Monday-Friday hours ranging from 12:00 pm-5:30pm. This position will be working with children ages 1 year-5 years, with the majority of the time being assisting in our one year old room and two year old room. We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, who are excellent with children and have an upbeat attitude. We offer a very positive work environment, And are looking to fill this position with someone whose ready to join a great team!

Previous work experience in a preschool environment is preferred, but not required! We will train if we feel the candidate shows a love and passion for working with children!

Qualifying candidates must:

• Be at least 18 years of age and have graduated high school or equivalent
• Must obtain 10 In-Service hours annually
• Must Obtain 45 Clock Hours Certifications within 90 days of employment
• Level 2 background screening clearance provided by the Florida Department of Children and Families is required upon hiring.
• Flexible in job assignment. This position will be bouncing from room to room helping out in all areas.

Job duties would include:

• Assisting all teachers in daily activities
• Implementing the daily program for the children that are in your care based on the developmental growth of each child.
• Assist and teach the children to think independently, and to respect themselves and others.
• Preparing daily written correspondences for parents
• Verbally correspond with parents / guardians / other staff members daily in a professional and positive manner
