Preschool Teacher-Minister (Part Time - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) - Holy Trinity Assumption Holy Trinity is seeking a part time Preschool Teacher-Minister (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). This teaching position not only guides students in academic growth, but also in the principles of the Catholic faith and maintains an atmosphere of spiritual growth. Candidates must hold, at a minimum, a high school diploma and be able to complete the online OCCRRA training courses required by the state for work in a preschool setting. Candidates will be expected to complete an BCI/FBI background screening and complete the VIRTUS program for the prevention of child abuse.

Essential Functions: Collaborates with other staff to implement lesson plans. - Continues to acquire professional knowledge and learn of current developments in the educational field by attending seminars, workshops or professional meetings. Encourages parental involvement in students' education and ensures effective communication with students and parents. Applies appropriate classroom management techniques to maintain an environment of learning. Coordinates with other school professional staff members and participates in faculty meetings and committees. Guides students in the principles of the Catholic faith and maintains an atmosphere of spiritual growth.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of the applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students, particularly in a preschool setting. Ability to organize and coordinate work. Ability to communicate effectively with students and coworkers. Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth. Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education preferred but not required.

Experience - Successful prior experience working within a preschool is recommended.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15,000.00 - $17,000.00 per year
