PRESCHOOL COOK POSITION AVAILABLE

We are hiring in Fenton MO 63026 for the position of Preschool Cook. This position reports to the Director and major responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage, inventory and clean kitchen to state regulations.
• Prepare breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.
• Prepare monthly menu following nutritional limits and state guidelines.
• Manage any dietary restrictions of any child in the building
• Place food order weekly from vendor making sure to turn-over inventory (dry, frozen and refrigerated) on a timely basis.
• Receive food delivery weekly from vendor (boxes weigh up to 36lbs. although can be unpacked and does not require lifting)
• Produce and maintain a Missouri “Food Manager” license within 90 days of hire. To be paid for by employer
• Produce a current physical examination by a physician upon hire.
• Produce a tuberculin test
• Demonstrate the ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved. Also be able to respond immediately to any emergency situation.

Compensation ranges from $13-$16 hourly depending on experience and performance.
