The Kitchen at Papaya’s Natural Foods is your friendly, family owned, neighborhood eatery. We are focused on bringing fresh, healthy and delicious food to our community. We are known for quality and looking for someone who can consistently deliver incredible food.

We are looking for a team member who wants to be a part of a community-oriented kitchen that provides food they can be proud of. No kitchen dramatics, just good clean food and honest hard work.

** Excellent Knife Skills Required

Duties Include:

- Food Preparation to include; but not limited to, preparing salads, wraps, and smoothies
- Cleaning
- Other duties as directed by Chef/Store Director

Qualifications:

- Previous Kitchen Experience (past experience as a line cook may also be helpful)
- Solid knife skills
- Good Attitude
- Good Customer Service
- Ability to work as a team member and independently
- Stays focused and motivated
- Follows rules and safety regulations of the work place
- Ability to be trained and follow direction
- Attention to detail
- Reliable and shows up to work on time and adheres to schedule
- STRONG DESIRE TO PREPARE HEALTHY, NATURAL FOOD

Requirements:
- MUST BE ABLE TO BEND, SIT, SQUAT, STAND FOR 8 HOURS OR MORE AT A TIME
- LIFT BOXES 30 LBS OR MORE ABOVE HEAD, AND SAFELY USE LADDERS AND BOX CUTTERS
- MUST BE 18 OR OLDER
- Have a reliable cell phone
- Have reliable transportation

Hours: PT and FT available

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
