Job description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking (cut, peel, store, label)
- Assemble ingreedients for orders coming in.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (will require obtaining a prep-cook permit after start)
- Perform miscellaneous tasks when asked.
- Keeping the workspace clean and tidy.
- Use the fryer to prepare some appetizers and chicken
Skills:
- Able to follow verbal instructions
- Willingness to learn
- Able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds regularly
- Can handle a busy stressful work environment as this job can get stressful when there are a lot of orders coming in.
- Able to use a knife.
- Know how to use a fryer.
Work Conditions:
- This job is mostly in a kitchen and can get hot and loud. There can also be cleaning chemicals present that you may occasionally be asked to use.
