PRECISION CLEANING TECHNICIAN โ€“ 2ND SHIFT


WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO

  • Based out of Rocket Headquarters in Long Beach, CA the Precision Cleaning Technician โ€“ 2nd Shift is responsible for cleaning machined flight hardware components and assemblies.
  • All major components of the Rutherford rocket engine are 3D printed including; thrust chamber, injectors, main valves and pump parts. Remaining parts are machined from raw material or procured externally.
  • Position requires a high-level of attention to detail.

YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proactive, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to work productively without direct supervision.
  • Experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Computer literate, able to follow instructions and record day to day activities.
  • Highly organized with faultless attention to detail.
  • Proven communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

  • 1+ years of experience in precision cleaning in aerospace industry.
  • Experienced in precision cleaning, ultrasonic cleaners, degreasers, oxygen cleaning and clean room methodology/practices.
  • Experience bagging parts and creating labels accordingly.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom.
  • Ultrasonic Cleaning Tanks
  • NVR (non-volatile residue).
  • Particle Part Testing.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • 2nd Shift Schedule is 4 days x 10 Hrs, M-TH, 2:30 pm-1:00 am. Upon hire candidate must start on 1st shift (5:00 am to 3:30 pm M-TH) to complete initial training for a minimum of 4-weeks or until they are determined to be proficient to move to 2nd shift.
