Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a Pouch & Seal Operator, at our Chattanooga Healthcare Laundry facility. We are looking for someone who is confident in decision making, can act quickly, and has excellent communication skills. The successful candidate:


  • Perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Pouch and label sterile product utilizing the heat sealing machine.
  • Document and maintain accurate and complete records.
  • Work within established productivity and quality standards.
  • Make recommendations to facility management for methods improvement.
  • Keep work area neat and clean.
  • Assist in any other areas as directed by team leader or management.
  • All other duties as may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Quality and detail orientation.
  • Able to learn quickly.
  • Willing and capable of working on different assignments within the facility.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work with sealer equipment.
  • Basic analytical skills and detail-orientation.
  • Excellent hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience in assembly may be considered a substitute for education.
