The Wen lab in the Center for Reproductive Medicine & Infertility, Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City, is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral scientists with an interest in developmental biology and epigenetics to work on NIH funded projects.

The laboratory focuses on pluripotent stem cells and developmental biology. Current projects include epigenetic regulation of pluripotency on pluripotent stem cells; zygotic genome activation; and gene targeting on ESCs. The positions are for research scientist career path, will provide a transition to career independence through the development of professional skills, supervision by senior scientists incorporating individual development plan in support of training goals and those of faculty mentors; publication of research findings/scholarship during the appointment period. Postdoctoral fellows will have opportunities to receive rigorous trainings in developmental biology and epigenetics and may develop multidisciplinary collaborations in the Tri-Institutional research community (Rockefeller University, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medical College) with more than 30 state-of-the-art core facilities available to use.

The ideal candidates will have a track record of peer-reviewed publications in the field of epigenetics and developmental biology and be familiar with omics data analysis and bioinformatics. Applicants with knowledge of stem cells, chromatin biology and gene editing are desirable but not required.
