SSA Group is looking for a POS Technical Analysts to join our IT Team!

This position is Hybrid and based in Orlando, FL.

POS Technical Analyst

Reports to: POS Systems Manager

Are YOU the perfect addition to our team? This position will involve: technical support responsibility around Point of Sale (POS) operations, maintenance, and supporting critical business applications utilized in Service Systems Associates locations; providing Technical Support to users by researching and answering questions and troubleshooting problems; strong customer service, communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, tackling and solving complex problems
• Responsible for proactive onsite/remote support and maintenance around POS systems
• Responsible for proactive onsite/remote support and maintenance around desktops and laptops support
• Provide onsite/remote support around wireless, and cabled infrastructures
• Improve system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes
• Monitors support issues, ensures resolution plans and reports progress to management
• Proactively maintains systems and executes preventative maintenance plans. Monitors system status and reacts to issues as they arise
• Communicates with site users regarding any system enhancements and or scheduled upgrades
• Office 365 administration
• Understanding network design and rollout
• Manage new and replacement rollouts of POS and IT equipment, including infrastructure
• Additional duties as job requires
• Denver, Co based position

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong analysis, organization, communications, interpersonal skills and troubleshooting skills are essential
• Experience with POS, Desktop and Laptop Support, Microsoft Server, VM (Hyper-V and Azure) experience is preferred
• Problem Solving, LAN knowledge, PC Proficiency, Verbal communication, and phone skills are a must
• Some training and certification will be provided
• Must be willing to travel up to 60% and to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends and some holidays

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Full-Time
• Salary based on range in consideration of relevant job experience and certification/education; if position is physically in Colorado or California, salary range will be posted above following EPFEW Act
• Vacation or TAFW (time away from work) Plan we want our team to take time as they need, so dont accrue hours but rather give you freedom to schedule within scope of the business and your needs
• Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance; employee premiums applicable
• Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability, employer sponsored; scaled-salary pay following submission and approval of leave
• Birthing Parent Plan covers up to (6-8) weeks fully paid leave, based on birthing event
• (4) Week fully paid Parental leave following birth, adoption or foster event, can be coupled with Birthing Parent Plan to extend above timeline
• 401k program, eligible for enrollment after (1) year of employment during January or June open enrollment periods, company is not matching at this time
• $50 monthly cell phone stipend

Salary range is $68k-$70k commensurate with education and experience.
