Job Objective: To serve each guest courteously, quickly and efficiently; to prepare and cook food products; and to package orders accurately and rapidly. Execution of each job duty must adhere to the specifications and procedures as stated in the Operating Standards Manual. Each task must be accomplished in a timely, clean and orderly manner with a focus on meeting customer needs.

Essential Job Functions:

Guest Services

  • Ensure that every guest feels welcomed by promoting an atmosphere of positivity. Greet every customer with a pleasant, enthusiastic, and sincere smile.
  • Strive for maximum efficiency to meet accuracy and speed of service standards.
  • Completely and accurately fill orders within the mandated 60 second service time.
  • Use of suggestive selling/up-selling when appropriate.
  • Collection of customer payment for food order(s). Must be able to receive money and accurately count back change.
  • Delivery of order to customer, thanking the customer and inviting him/her to return.
  • Verifies opening cash drawer. Is accountable and responsible for all cash issued and received at the register during assigned shift. Count down drawer at end of shift to ensure accuracy.
  • Practice adequate security measures in cash handling, making frequent cash drops and maintaining mandated amount of cash in register.
  • Immediately notifies Manager-in-Charge of any deletions, over-rings or equipment problems.
  • Immediately attends to any customer service problem or complaint. Notifies manager as needed.
  • Ensure parking lot and surrounding areas are clean, inviting, and free from litter, cigarettes butts, etc. Empty all exterior trash receptacles; clean exterior receptacles.
  • Ensure Drive-Thru menu board is clean and contains correct information
  • Maintain a clean work area by practicing “clean-as-you-go” practices while adhering to the guidelines/procedures of sanitation and safety, to include mopping interior floors and exterior/interior windows and ledges.
  • Maintain sanitation of customer dining lobby, service area, and restrooms.
  • Assist with the maintenance and stocking of customer service area. Ensure adequate supply of cups, lids, ice, and drinks are available.

Cooks

  • Set up the batter table and prepares batter mix and/or biscuit station. Collects all necessary products and smallwares are present.
  • Ensure call sheets are complete, posted and used.
  • Color balances fryers and add sufficient shortening to the proper shortening level.
  • Filters and cleans all fryers at the designated times whiles following all guidelines of safety; to include use of provided safety equipment.
  • Process sufficient chicken and other food items for operational needs as dictated by the needs of the business and at the direction of the Manager-in-Charge.
  • Strictly adhere to the designated cook times for all food products. Ensure all food products meet the specifications, procedures and quality standards as stated in the Operating Standards Manual.
  • Maintain a clean work area by practicing “clean-as-you-go” practices while adhering to the guidelines/procedures of sanitation and safety.

Prep

  • Ensure temperature and water levels are adequate in steam-wells and cookers.
  • Ensure “cook-to-order” products are prepared immediately.
  • Codes and rotates each product using First-in/First-out (FIFO) method. Strictly observes/adheres to proper holding times of all food products as outlined in the Operating Standards Manual.
  • Ensures quality of product and reports any deficiencies to Shift Manager.
  • Maintains all necessary products and ensure supplies are stocked and available for prep station.
  • Strive for maximum efficiency to meet accuracy and speed of service standards.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
