The Polysomnographic Technician (OANC Sleep Lab) acts as a consultant to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and reassess the care of patients with abdominal stomas, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure sores/dermal wounds and incontinence and involved with the physical, emotional and social rehabilitation of patients.

This individual ensures these needs are met in a manner that is consistent with the values and missions of CHRISTUS St Frances Cabrini Hospital.

• Ability to work alone and understand how to score and troubleshoot.
• Responsible for the monitoring and care of patients during all night polysomnograms and MSLT.
• Functions independently to operate sophisticated medical equipment to record sleep/wake physiology.
• Applies recording devices to the patient, cleans/sterilizes equipment, and maintains sleep laboratory area with minimal supervision.
• Recognizes sleep pathology in the laboratory setting and responds appropriately to ensure patient safety.
• Reviews and scores overnight PSG and MSLT.
• Processes and documents result.
• Provides services to patients of all ages.

What We Look For:

• At least a minimum of 1 year experience in an established sleep center
• RPSGT, CPSGT- RT-SDS
• Certified in Basic Life Support
• Recommend ACLS certification
