Who You Are:

Cuts glass products to specific size and shape using tape measure and glass cutting tools. Positions glass on cutting table and able to measure dimensions per customer specifications. Able to mark cutting lines using glass cutting tool. Breaks away excess glass by hand. May need to be able to smooth rough edges using sander.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Able to perform duties required for specific glass/mirror machines
• Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal, conflict management and time management skills
• Communicate with operators from other shifts.
• Resolves problems using working knowledge and solutions that improve operations, and develops recommendations involving new techniques, technologies, or concepts.
• Provides direction and example for interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
• Maintains a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.

Skills You Bring:

• 2-3 years of experience in production
• Able to read a tape measure in 1/16 of an inch.
• Frequent heavy lifting - up to 75lbs
• Withstand temperatures that may exceed 100 degrees
• Flexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends)
