About Our Company

Home Care Powered by AUAF is a fast growing, non-profit organization providing non-medical, in-home services for over 25 years. Our mission is to provide quality, in-home service that will allow seniors to live comfortably and independently in the familiarity of their own home.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Providing customers with essential information about the organization and the

program.

  • Supports the Polish public relations and Marketing Team in creating and executing

a Community relations strategy, partnering with associations and other local
organizations.

  • Develops and maintains relationships within the industry.
  • Regularly attend events and meetings and ensure that relevant information is

being shared.

  • Generate ideas and plans how to expand and spread the word in the Chicagoland.
  • Engage with local authorities.
  • Follow all IDoA and AUAF policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Pass state required background checks.
  • Fluency in Polish.

Preferred

  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of health care/home care industry.

Training

  • Complete IDoA required Homecare Supervisor Training (HOST) within 90 days of employment.
  • Complete 24 hours of in-service training on aging related subjects within each

calendar year.

  • Complete additional training as assigned by AUAF management.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Excellent phone and email etiquette.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service
  • Detail oriented.
  • Solutionist.
  • Be self-reliant and driven to succeed.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to keep client, caregiver, and AUAF information confidential.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 10lbs.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Operate office equipment (copier, fax, scanner, phone, computer).
  • Extended periods of time on the phone, typing, and reading on a computer screen.
