The Policy Services Specialists is responsible for answering incoming calls (estimated 60-75 a day) and live chats through the call center including, but not limited to, agents, policyholders and mortgage companies. The Specialist is also responsible for daily processing of various types of policy changes and working with different departments to provide the highest level of support and service. The Specialist’s full-time schedule is Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with one rotation day of 9:00a.m. - 6:00p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The schedule is subject to change based on business needs and additional/extended/altered hours may be required.

Work Location: In anticipation of the Olympus headquarters relocation in November of 2022, you will work remotely until the Jacksonville, Florida headquarters is operational, at which time you will be required to work on site.

· Responsible for handling inbound/outbound phone inquiries regarding policy changes, policy statuses, billing and other agency and consumer inquires.

· Provides Live Chat support for inbound inquiries from insureds, agents and vendor for all departments regarding claims, agency operations, and other policy, quote or guideline related questions.

· Utilizing the policy management system to process incoming policy and quote related requests received via email, mail and policy management system. This may include scanning, faxing, distribution, filing, photocopying, correspondence and record keeping.

· Works directly with accounting to review and request payment transfers and adjustments, as necessary.

· Special projects as directed and as business needs change; including, but not limited to, BPO reinstatement logs, mass policy rating and mailroom support.

· Provides feedback and suggestions to leadership on process enhancements and efficiencies

· Assists with raining and mentorship of new team members

· Additional duties as required

Education/Experience

· 1-3 years’ customer service and/or call center experience

· 2+ years Florida Property & Casualty carrier experience

· Work experience in insurance services or related industry background; Florida Property & Casualty preferred

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· 4-40 license; 2-20 license is a plus

Skills

· Excellent written and oral communication

· Extreme attention to detail

· Efficient time management with the ability to effectively multi-task and adapt to changing priorities

· Ability to work comfortably in a high volume, customer focused environment

· Effectively and independently utilizes resources to problem solve and resolve inquiries

· Adept knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)

· Fluent in English; bilingual is a plus
