New England’s leading commercial mechanical contractor is expanding and looking to hire a full-time plumbing project manager/estimator for commercial projects. Our organization has been servicing customers for over 70 years throughout Massachusetts. We are currently seeking an experienced plumbing project manager/estimator who has the enthusiasm and ability to help us grow in the New England region. The list of requirements are as follows:

• Control and monitor construction to ensure that the project is accordance with design, budget and on schedule.
• Manage the financial aspects of the project, including monthly requisitions and change orders.
• Must have knowledge of all phases of plumbing and gas heating installations.
• Must be able to read and understand drawings, prepare RFI’s, submittals, solicit subcontractors and price material and equipment for new construction projects.
• Responsible for the performance of subcontractors and other trades.
• Perform detailed plan take-offs from drawings and prepare final estimates.
• Responsible for project close out, O&M’s, as-builts, balancing reports and valve tag charts.
• Attend pre-bid walk throughs if necessary.
• Prepare detailed scope of work and schedule of values.

Qualifications:

• Commercial plumbing foreman 5 years.
• Project management experience 5 years.
• Must have strong computer skills and familiar with MS Office, project management and estimating software.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent trade licenses along with 3 - 5 years industry experience.
