Overview of the Role:

The Platform Maintenance & Quality Manager is responsible for supporting the maintenance of applications for use by Privia Medical Group clinicians and Privia Partners. The Platform Maintenance & Quality Manager provides expert guidance in change management, ensuring all procedures, project management systems & automated systems are maintained to the highest quality standards.

Primary Job Duties:

Platform Maintenance & Quality

  • Oversee all aspects of the maintenance process, from build requirements through to internal tracking & automation.

  • Oversee team in establishing and conducting maintenance structure, pre and post live application optimization & planning for existing and new features as they are offered or released.

  • Identifies workflow improvements and opportunities

  • Resolves issues maximize effective use & visibility into maintenance management systems.

  • Supports initiatives and recommends opportunities for increased efficiencies in maintenance, training & quality areas.

  • Works with Privia Partners to update, optimize/improve shared documentation and processes

  • Educates team members and Privia Partners on planned updates to shared documentation and process change requests.

  • Plans and executes notification of any newly adopted processes & policies.

  • Configure and customize systems as it relates to ongoing maintenance efforts.

  • Stay up to date with the current state of technology and bring new suggestions.

AthenaNet Release Management:

  • Responsible for the Release Management lifecycle that involves stages such as pre-loading release details in application for review, coordinating between teams, and facilitating timely responses from all stakeholders to meet deadlines.

  • Conduct Release Readiness reviews (ie: Business Go/No-Go review of features)

  • Work closely with EHR Lead to coordinate pre-release testing efforts between teams and ensure any possible defects and inconsistencies are shared with stakeholders & our athenaHealth resources.

General:

  • Recruit, hire, and train direct reports on job skills and responsibilities.

  • Manage expenses related to direct reports and activities to stay within operational budget

  • Maintains confidentiality and complies with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Strong technical capabilities

  • Experience with project management tools

  • Solid understanding of change management & platform maintenance

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Experience in quality assurance

  • Experience in conducting training

  • Experience in people management

  • Understanding of Robotic Process Automation

  • A minimum of one year experience with EHR configuration and customization

  • Understanding of clinical terminology

  • Solid understanding of healthcare informatics
