Platform Architect (DevOps) - Denver, CO (Onsite) - Disney - $65- C2C – 12+ Exp - No OPT, CPT

- Provides technical leadership and architectural direction for all the in-scope cloud services deployed in AWS Cloud Platform

- Participate in the design, build and deployment of a new platform including service request, provisioning process, configuration, monitoring definition, backup and recovery strategy, and security

- Work closely with developers and product owners to adopt architectural changes adapt to the emerging cloud requirements and technologies.

- Manage architecture and solution dependencies within the assignment

- Articulate platform functional and non-functional requirements to support development services

Must have Experience

- Broad experience in network and/or infrastructure architecture and solutioning, including knowledge of Cloud offerings and virtualization technologies

- Strong experience in architecting, designing, developing highly reliable, fault tolerant and performant cloud-based services

- Strong experience in Docker, Kubertnetes, Kubernetes CRDs, Kubernetes RBAC

- Strong knowledge of cloud monitoring and alerting tools like (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Cloudwatch, Grafana, New Relic, Sendgrid)

- Strong experience on the application diagnosability with tools like ELK/EFK

- Strong experience with infrastructure and platform sizing, infrastructure cost reduction

- Exposure to DR strategies followed while building highly available applications

- Strong experience in working on projects distributed across multiple geographies

Skills and Experience

We are seeking experience with the following technologies/domains:

- B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline

- At least 10 years of experience in building Enterprise software products and Cloud Services.

- Prior experience in developing and architecting cloud services across diverse technology stack on C++/Node.js/Java preferably Multi-tenant SaaS/PaaS Services using microservices architecture on any of the cloud environments AWS/Azure/Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

- Must be familiar with containers technologies like:Docker Containers, Kubernetes and ideally have developed on any of the full stack technology stack. Exposure toJQuery, AngularJS, KnockoutJS,Bootstraps would be great to have.

- Proven ability to develop and ship high quality software products in Agile development environments.

- Must have used and developed Site Reliability Practices using popular Cloud Monitoring and logging framework.

- Should have high emotional quotient, self-driven and shows technology leadership in complex and ambiguous situations.

- Good to have experience in a in multi cloud environment (AWS, Azure, OCI)
