Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for supporting the internal business needs of the Target Wholesale Division, and will work closely with Demand Planning and Customer Service business partners. They will use data analysis and collaborative relationships to provide forecast insights and replenishment solutions to exceed both Target and Lindt metrics. This includes customer sales planning and budgeting, strategic reporting/analysis and other related sales activities. This position would own all inventory management on the team as well as all internal and external forecasts for the Everyday and Seasonal businesses.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Target Team Supply Chain Management
Oversee critical business enablers, owning supply chain and forecasting functions of the business.
- Own all inventory management on the team as well as all internal and external forecasts for the Everyday and Seasonal businesses.
Lead all communication with Target leaders on weekly inventory and forecasting calls. Align with customer on top priorities and ensure constant communication on future forecasts.
Monitor and report critical metrics (in stock/out of stock, fill rate, and on-time delivery), and research root cause with supply chain partners and provide back in stock date and action plans to correct and prevent in the future
Monitor ordering patterns to ensure alignment with anticipated POS and analyze opportunities related to lead times, minimums, returns, problem freight, etc
Monitor in stock percentages daily/weekly, developing a root cause for low in-stock issues, and provide store level recommendations to improve metrics
Partner with leaders within Candy Planning at Target and the Sales team to provide detail by SKU recommendations to Target to drive higher inventory during periods experiencing lift (promotional, seasonal, etc.)
Support Sales/Demand Planning by providing item level POS and Supply Plan data and feature/ad/promo or reset ship dates
Provide Customer Service reports on a continual basis.
Participate in weekly inventory calls with the Target inventory managers to proactively manage potential fluctuations in unit movement, gain insight into production challenges, and communicate business results and future needs.
Work with Sales Analyst and NAMs to understand Target's inventory needs to maximize sales
Identify, implement and execute regional policies and supply chain initiatives in key major markets to optimize on shelf availability in Lindt's major markets.
Consistently communicate vertically and cross functionally to ensure internal and external customers' needs are met effectively.
Communicate order shortages and inventory liabilities to Target replenishment managers and internal Supply Chain team, identifying significant changes that affect high-risk items and provide plans for resolution.
Customer Leadership
Cultivates the relationship between Target planning leaders and inventory teams to maintain level of partnership.
Leads Supply Chain Joint Business Planning processes with Target
- Build and foster a strong relationship with Target's internal supply chain team, and lead quarterly planning meetings with each respective account.
Work with Target to optimize seasonal allocation to ensure sell thru results are optimized by store/by item.

4+ years experience in a FMCPG environment, preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:

- Ability to lead a team as well as work independently to achieve goals.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Demonstrated success in cross functional work environments with internal service orientation.
Ability to problem solve and multi-task in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Education:
Required
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or Marketing

Ability to Analyze information and make recommendations to leadership
Make decisions with varying levels of ambiguity
