Job description

Rummel Construction, Inc. is seeking a Pilot Truck Driver. This is a safety sensitive position that is responsible to help safely transport heavy construction equipment, vehicles, and other construction related items. This position supports heavy equipment transport by leading or trailing the oversized load to establish a safe perimeter and alert other drivers to its presence. Responsible for complying with all DOT regulations.

This position requires the ability to:
Safely and efficiently perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Help secure heavy equipment loads, maintain electronic logs (e-logs)
Maintain electronic logs (E-Logs) and ensure DOT Compliance at all times

Minimum Qualifications: Comprehensive product knowledge of automotive parts. Must have an acceptable driving record, knowledge of/ability to navigate the geographic area, and the ability to lift load/unload parts and materials. Must be able to pass DOT Medical Clearance and Regulated Drug Screen for a CMV driver in the State of Arizona (required to pull trailers).

Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience and / or certification as a pilot car driver Preferred. CDL and / or Transport Driving experience is a plus.
