Physician Assistant - Surgery Opportunity

Mercy Health in Lorain Ohio located 30 miles west of Cleveland has an exciting opportunity for a physician assistant to meet the growing demand for surgical services. Working under the direction of the surgeon, the candidate will be responsible for first assisting in the operating room, including positioning, prepping, tissue retraction and suturing. They will provide post-operative management, patient and family education and discharge planning in addition to performing histories and physical exams and evaluating new and established patients. The position involves call coverage that will rotate among providers. Surgical experience is preferred.
