Descriptions of Responsibilities:
- 9AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday with no evening, weekend or holiday calls
- Direct patient care in an out-patient setting with both in-person and telehealth visits
- Mange your own panel of patients with physician supports and develop long-term relationships with patients
- Support physicians with urgent consultations as well as on-going patient care
- Patient education regarding medications, dietary recommendations, pre-procedural instructions, etc.
- Provide GI consultations and follow-ups for in-patients at Sequoia Hospital
- Opportunities to learn and perform in-office procedures including Fibroscan, hemorrhoid banding, Breath test, Capsule endoscopy, etc.
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
- Completed an accredited PA program with a national certification
- Licensed in California, obtained by your start date
- Current DEA license
- Experience with EPIC EHR a plus
