QUESTIONS
Provide photographic services for members of the caucus at events and during legislative business at the state Capitol and in their districts, visually illustrating their work on behalf of constituents. Photograph member portraits, posed groups of visitors, press conferences, and various other legislative events in a wide range of indoor and outdoor settings, including in-studio as well as on location. Use professional dSLR cameras, along with necessary accessories and post-production software, to provide prints and post photos on a variety of digital mediums. This job may be eligible for telework opportunities.

The schedule will vary and typically align to the House of Representatives session schedule. There will be a need for occasional evening hours and frequent travel, including weekends, as part of the flex schedule.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Complete knowledge of digital camera and lens systems (mirrorless and dSLR) to obtain quality photographs.- Knowledge and proven execution of various lighting styles and techniques.
- Knowledge of photography and printing equipment: Professional Nikon camera Z9 along with Z mount lens system, Professional Nikon D4xs camera and F-mount lens system, CFExpress & CompactFlash storage media, Elinchrome systems, Canon/Lexmark printers. Ability to expand knowledge as photographic needs change.
- Perform candid coverage for special events, portrait photography, and posed large and small groups.
- Edit and enhance digital images within Adobe Creative Suite, using Lightroom and Photoshop, Nikon NX Studio and other software solutions to prepare for production and archiving.
- Determine project goals, locations, and equipment needs by organizing assignments and consulting with members and communications/digital media teams.
- Write photographic captions for print and social media.
- Perform general office duties such as scheduling appointments and ordering supplies.
- Demonstrate integrity and good judgment; model strong ethics in all actions; objective and thoughtful; contribute to a positive work environment. Commit to embedding ethics and legal compliance into all aspects of the Caucus.
- Perform work-related duties as assigned.

- Requires onsite support of team members, staff, and Members, especially during Session. Session essential employees must be physically present at the worksite on Session Days.
- Associates Degree, or certificate from a college or technical school; or related experience.
- Knowledge of wireless transfer action and process.
- Computer skills necessary as employees will consistently be working on internal servers and OneDrive system.
- Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to write for broad and diverse audiences and in digital formats
- Experience in communicating authentically, concisely and convincingly in diverse organizations; ability to translate broad and complex ideas and concepts to clear and compelling communications
- Ability to multi-task, handling multiple assignments and working under strict timelines
- Acts with conviction, seeks new ideas, and suggests alternatives
- Attention to details, resourceful, responsible and strong work ethic
- Excellent team collaboration, influence, negotiation and inter-personal skills
