As a Call Center Pharmacy Technician, you will be the voice of the company to our customers. Serving as their first point of contact to solve problems and troubleshoot issues. Utilizing multiple computer platforms and leveraging technology to expedite patient care. Sometimes there will be the need to triage calls to other departments within the organization, and you will need sound judgement and decision-making abilities to assure that the client and patients are taken care of appropriately. As a critical member of our team, you will ensure response time is quick and hassle-free, while exceeding our client’s expectations by responding to their needs quickly and efficiently. Must be willing to start the process of becoming a registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of New Jersey within two weeks of joining. Must be fully registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Board of Pharmacy within 180 days perform aspects of these projects.The ideal candidate is a people person who enjoys troubleshooting and resolving problems and is dedicated to helping customers. For you, no task feels too small and no challenge impossible. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Triaging of incoming phone calls from Nursing Facilities
- Processing of verbal requests for medication
- Providing status or confirmation of medication delivery
- Troubleshooting
- Outgoing clarifications of medication orders and patient demographic data
- Coordination of incoming Medication Orders both via fax and by electronic interface
Qualifications:
- Long Term Care experience preferred
- Previous Retail Pharmacy and Hospital Pharmacy experience accepted
- Knowledge of Brand Name/Generic medications
- Moderate to advanced computer skills
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
- Framework/DocuTrack knowledge a plus
- Able to work independently as well as in a diverse, team environment
- Minimum of one-year high-volume inbound calls and customer service experience in a call center environment preferred
- PharmScript is willing to train qualified candidates with no pharmacy experience
- Able to handle between 80-100 incoming calls daily in a eight-hour shift
- Able to multi-task and toggle between multiple computer screens and communicate information to our patients and facilities.
