Professional Pet Stylist / Dog Groomer

Fluff Bar Dog Spa in Oldtown Scottsdale is looking for an experienced groomer/stylist to join our team, 3-5 days a week. We are currently booked out the rest of the year. Saturday availability is required. We opened in February of 2021 and are located in the heart of Oldtown, in the Entertainment District! Fluff Bar is a boutique salon with a calm environment. Groom one dog at a time. Our ideal candidate is experienced, a self-starter, team player, with a positive attitude. At most, you will work with 3 other groomers at the same time. Must be comfortable with checking in/out dogs. We are always booked so everyone has a full schedule. W-2 employee position. Very flexible with time off, we understand groomers need their vacation time. Looking to expand into a second location next year so will have more opportunity as we grow!

Essential Job Functions:

Must be able to consistently perform the following duties and responsibilities:

-Follow bathing/grooming procedures as outlined

-Clean ears, clip nails, and perform other needed services

-Adhere to customer instruction of clipping pattern desired

-Haircutting according to determined pattern, using electric clippers, combs and shears

-Comb and shape dogs coat

-Sweep, vacuum, clean and sanitize and other cleaning as needed to maintain standards

-Check in and check out clients dogs

-Respond to texts and voicemails on work phone

Qualifications:

1+ years’ experience as a professional groomer
