Want to work with dogs all day while gaining the knowledge and experience working in a luxury pet salon environment? Then this opportunity is for you! Perfect for anyone out of high school looking to get their foot in the door and be part of the pet care service industry.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Continuous cleaning and organization of the salon throughout the day (vacuuming dog hair around stations, wiping down/sanitize floor suites, cleaning up accidents, bathing area, etc.)
- Wash and fold laundry throughout the day
- Take out garbage regularly.
- Assist a groomer with handling a nervous dog when needed.
- Calling clients when dogs are ready for pick up and on occasion, walking dogs out to the client who is in the waiting area if groomer is too busy to do so.
- Assisting with bathing dogs when needed
- Restocking of grooming shampoos and products.
- Help clean out tubs at the end of day.
This is an entry level 10-5pm position and training will be provided to the right candidate. We ask that you have excellent people and customer service skills, awesome work ethic, reliable and responsible, is a team player, proactive and are able and willing to assist with handling large dogs at times.
