Location: Williamsburg, VA

Peninsula Staffing, LLC is a premier provider of in-home care services for seniors and disabled individuals. We are currently seeking compassionate and certified Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our team in Williamsburg. As a PCA, you will be responsible for providing assistance with personal care, hygiene, and household tasks according to the approved Plan of Care. Additionally, you will provide transportation as requested, assist in creating and maintaining a safe environment, and provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with our clients to increase their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, in accordance with the approved Plan of Care.
• Perform household tasks, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
• Provide transportation to appointments and outings as requested
• Create and maintain a safe environment by following established safety protocols and identifying potential hazards
• Comply with all documentation and record-keeping requirements, such as maintaining accurate client files and completing progress notes.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients to enhance their quality of life and create lasting memories Requirements:
• Current certification as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
• Current certification in CPR
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be available to work from 9:30AM - 3:00PM

Compensation:

• Hourly rate of $12 - $13/hour
