Performance Coordinator
Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) is seeking to hire a full-time exercise physiologist whose primary role is to provide general and sport specific exercise training and fitness testing services for clients across the spectrum of age, fitness level, and medical and orthopedic conditions. This individual will also have the opportunity to develop and coordinate programs within the performance and wellness umbrella. The candidate will be expected to participate in community outreach initiatives, as well as having the opportunity to present at professional education conferences.
The ideal candidate must have exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to influence people, build relationships and collaborate with MDs and the multi-disciplinary team. Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills coupled with excellent organization and project management skills are a must. Prior leadership experience is preferred. The successful candidate will work across various locations of the HSS Campus.

Requirements
To qualify you must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology or related field coupled with a minimum of 5 years training experience with a wide variety of clientele including special populations. Specialized testing experience and a certifications from the ACSM (ACSM-CEP preferred) or NASM, ACE, or NSCA are required for employment. This position is benefit eligible with a competitive salary structure.
