A day in the life of a Pension Benefit Analyst
- Reviews and evaluates pension applications
- Establishes, calculates and maintains pension records
- Assists plan participants with benefit issues and questions
- Prepares well-structured written correspondence for participants and attorneys
Requirements for the Pension Benefit Analyst position
- College degree preferred
- Must have strong math skills
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the administration of employee benefits
- Must have knowledge of Pension and Health Benefit Plans
- Must be able to communicate effectively with participants, attorneys, Business Representatives and professional service providers
- Must have excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PC operating systems)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
