Our Division comprises eight pediatric gastroenterologists, four nurse practitioners, a team of nurses, dieticians, social workers, psychologists, and support staff with the shared mission of improving children's health. The Nemours Children's Center for Motility and Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders has a dedicated procedure nurse and support staff. New state-of-the-art motility equipment includes esophageal, antroduodenal manometry, colonic manometry, high-resolution anorectal manometry, SmartPill manometry, Endoflip, transnasal endoscopy (and soon transnasal esophagogastroduodenoscopy), pH-impedance probe testing and capsule endoscopy. The GI Division includes specific centers and programs for inflammatory bowel disease, eosinophilic GI diseases, celiac disease, aerodigestive disorders, neurogastroenterology, and motility. Division members are actively engaged in clinical, quality, and bench research. They have vital roles in residency education, regional education, and a developing GI Fellowship Program.

We are seeking a candidate with a track record of leadership and provision of excellent clinical care. Nemours Children's Health System is also the largest pediatric radiology group in the country, with advanced MRI, ultrasound imaging, and interventional radiology. We have recently launched a new Nemours Children's Digestive Disorders and Gastrointestinal Surgery Center in collaboration with general surgery, Urology, and ENT that offers multidisciplinary care and advanced robotic surgery. In addition to GI and GI surgical expertise, we have dedicated board-certified pediatric pathologists.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic pediatric gastroenterologist with a passion for further developing our existing motility program. The candidate must be trained and experienced in pediatric gastroenterology and motility procedures and qualify for an appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank as a Clinical Educator at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. The University of Florida College of Medicine is nationally in the top academic quartile and has a 98.8% residency match rate ( UCF College of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences | Florida Medical School ).
