Job Description:
Children's Hospital & Medical Center and University of Nebraska Medical Center are proud to offer an advanced fellowship in congenital cardiac anesthesia.
The Criss Heart Center, housed largely within the brand new Hubbard Center, boasts a 32-bed adaptable acuity intensive care unit, and new operating rooms and imaging center. We currently perform around 250+ cardiac operative cases, and 350+ cardiac cath/EP cases annually.
Given our small core pediatric fellowship, the congenital trainee will have almost unrestricted access to our entire procedural volume. In addition, the fellow will spend dedicated time with perfusion, cardiac critical care, Echo, and electrophysiology. We have developed an innovative didactic curriculum, and are committed to incorporating the fellow into scholarly efforts underway in the heart center.
