We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to support the Shared Financial Services Payroll operations for Hearst. The position is a highly valued individual on the Payroll team and plays an integral role in the day-to-day payroll operations. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who takes ownership of their responsibilities. Responsibilities:
- Work with ADP and our units processing high-volume regular and off-cycle payroll runs.
- Payroll Processing under very tight deadlines.
- Process/monitor off-cycle payments.
- Monitor Payroll inbox support within ADP system, able to respond to ADP tickets and report issues.
- Proficient in report creation in ADP.
- Support monthly and quarterly reconciliations.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2 – 5 years of payroll processing experience.
- Experience with ADP Global View Platform preferred.
- SAP experience desired.
- Knowledge of multi-state tax.
- Detailed oriented and organized.
- Ability to work under time pressure, prioritize workload, work with high-volume payroll, and meet strict deadlines.
- Self-motivated and a team player with a positive attitude.
- Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)
