Job Description:

Murfin Drilling Company, Inc. is looking for a payroll specialist to join our team. The payroll specialist will be responsible for maintaining payroll for all Murfin companies as well as providing support to our accounting department.

Essential Functions:

Accounts payable and receivable

Payroll processing within an HRIS system

Data entry of oil and gas sales

Gain knowledge of oil and gas sales

Code and enter invoices

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

Basic knowledge of Microsoft office and excel

Strong attention to detail

Payroll processing experience

Able to process work with accuracy

Meets commitments and deadlines

Able to perform tasks simultaneously

Able to maintain confidentiality and process confidential information discreetly

Demonstrates openness to new procedures, technology and structure

Education:

High school or GED Required

Minimum 2years of accounting/payroll experience required
