Our client, Providence Health Benefits, is hiring for a full or part-time Payroll Implementation Speciailist who has specialized in PrismHR software. This is a hybrid remote opportunity and candidates must be located on the East Coast.

The Payroll Implementation Specialist is an essential bridge from sales to service delivery. As a Payroll Implementation Specialist, this role will implement and train new clients on PrismHR. In addition, this role will implement and train existing clients on PrismHR. This role works cross functional with other departments within the organization to ensure proper setup and timing for clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for implementing and training new clients on PrismHR to include, payroll, time and labor management, applicant tracking, performance management, learning management, expense management and paid time off.
  • Consults with the client and gathers information to properly setup PrismHR to optimize their experience.
  • Monitors the client onboarding process which might include system building, data migration, system testing, parallel processing, live production support, and project coordination
  • Trains the client contacts during the implementation process to use the software to its fullest capabilities.
  • Processes and QAs first client payroll to ensure a successful implementation of the components gathered.
  • Coordinates with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition after implementation is complete
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years’ experience with PrismHR, required.
  • Associate degree (A.A. or A.S.) from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Customer Service and/or Payroll related experience, either as a practitioner or as an implementation consultant.
  • Experience with either process or systems that manage timekeeping functions, onboarding functions, performance management, and/or learning management.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Certified Payroll Professional or Fundamentals of Payroll Certification a plus, but not required.
